Will there be incisions on the outside of my nose during Cleft Rhinoplasty?
The type of incision that you have depends a lot on your own anatomy and what we need to do to fix it and address it. And so, some patients we’re able to do everything just through incisions on the inside of the nose that are very well hidden, for other patients where more extensive work needs to be done, we add an additional incision just on the bottom of the nose here. It usually heals very well, it’s very unseen, not really noticed, and it gives us a little better visualization and access to do everything we need to do.
