This beautiful patient came to us after losing over 70 pounds, and reaching a stable weight for over 6 months. Her main goals were removing the overhanging pannus, and also removing some of the extra skin on her back.

Extended tummy tuck without liposuction was chosen, to remove as much skin as possible from hip to hip. The upper back skin excision helped to smooth out the rolls that can develop, especially after large amounts of weight loss.

The upper back incision may be carried around to the breasts for a breast lift as well, depending on a patient’s goals with surgery. She is seen here at 1 month, with a natural looking belly button.
