This lovely patient had a frustrating lump above her belly button that she had named Fred.

She also had a mild diastasis recti and some skin laxity after previous pregnancy.

We decided together to take care of Fred and the diastasis at the same time, and also remove some of her skin laxity, too.

She turned out to have a small hernia above her belly button, with protruding fat from inside her abdomen.

Returning this fat underneath her muscle — and then repairing her muscle fascia — helped to prevent Fred from making any more unwanted appearances.
